Anybody tried Laser for hair removal, or skin tightening?

Posted by admin on Feb 1, 2010 under Laser Skin Resurfacing, laser hair removal, laser skin tightening

Please tell me about your experience. Thanks.
“I went into an American Laser Center in Naples, Florida hoping to avoid cosmetic surgery. I had been a sun worshipper and smoker most of my life and it showed. At age 51, I was contemplating a face lift. I spoke with Jacquelyn who recommended I try a photo-rejuvenation along with Microdermabrasion. I thought it was worth a try. I have had 3 photo-rejuvenations and 3 Microdermabrasions and have already ruled out cosmetic surgery. I am delighted with the results! My smokers’ lips are gone, my skin is smoother, the age lines have softened, my brown spots are fading, and I once again have a healthy glow to my complexion. Not only am I sold on the treatments, the staff is amazing. They are well trained and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your treatments. The center is clean and efficient and I am so glad I opted to try them! Thank you Naples American Laser Centers and your amazing Naples Staff!”

have you tried laser skin resurfacing yet?

Posted by admin on Dec 24, 2009 under laser skin tightening

i just had the first of 4 treatments done on thursday. you have to go without makeup for 72 hours, can’t work out for about the same length of time. it was like a really bad sunburn, but not that painful. right now (72 hours later) my skin just feels dry, but i think it’s because i haven’t used moisturizer yet. they don’t want you to put anything on your skin for a few days because your skin has tiny little holes in it from the laser. i had mine done to remove some discolored spots. so far, i think i’m happy with the results, but it will take 3 more treatments to get the full effect. i guess we’ll see in about 3 months…good luck.

Pixel Animation RX Skin Clinic

Posted by admin on Dec 13, 2009 under laser skin tightening

What is Pixel technology?

Pixel is the next generation of laser skin resurfacing that helps to improve skin texture, tone and firmness, smoothes wrinkles, and reduces pore size and scars (including acne scars) without the downtime and discomfort associated with other resurfacing lasers. This FDA-approved treatment represents the best of both worlds for skin resurfacing: it combines the proven effectiveness of an ablative approach with the client comfort level and convenience of a non-ablative approach.
How it works
Pixel skin resurfacing is based on the principle of micro-thermal treatment zones:
The laser pulses create tiny holes in the skin, removing the epidermis and upper dermis.
The treatment then triggers the bodys natural healing process, stimulating the growth of new, healthy skin tissue.
The procedure treats small zones of the skin, leaving surrounding tissue untouched and intact.
The result is new, healthier, smoother tissue in place of skin imperfections.
Pixel Technology can be used on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. The Pixel is especially useful for treating the neck and chest. These areas are not easily treated with traditional skin resurfacing lasers without high probability of injury or scaring.
How does the treatment feel?

There is virtually no pain during the treatment. Afterwards the patient feels a mild to medium sun burn for a few hours or as much as a day.
How many treatments are required to receive the optimal result?

Improvement occurs after just one session, but ideally three to five sessions are required for optimal results. Treatments are spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

A typical treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the number of areas treated.

Results
Facial Rejuvenation.
Improves fine lines.
Tightens skin.
Reduces pores.
Removes sun damage.
Smoothes scars, including acne scars.
A glowing complexion.
Significant improvement in skin smoothness and texture.

Most patients find that pore size, color and texture all improve dramatically. This is what they are most commonly reporting to us.

We are currently investigating how the Pixel may reduce stretch marks. Stay tuned!
