I was thinking about getting a peel done to improve the texture and look of my skin but the expense, recovery time and risks aren’t what I am looking for. Does anyone know of any facials that are similar in results to a peel or microdermabrasion?
ive had micro and after i got it done my skin looked so shiney and clear.
before my skin was so dull.

I want to do massage therapy, facials and botox, and beauty .What would you need to do to get into that? It is a mixture of everything that I like.
A massage therapist does massage therapy,
A aesthetician does facials,
A registered nurse after some training can do botox injections…
I’m not sure of your exact question because all of these are not directly related if your going to school to become all of them…
Massage therapy school can run from 6 month program to a year…after you graduate, you go and take your certification test and follow the laws in your state (every state/city has their own set of regulations to practice that you MUST follow if you plan on getting a job)
To become an Aesthetician you must complete a program that usually takes one semester (or two depending if your going full or part time) then you have to take an exam to get certified in that too.
To do minor plastic surgery like botox and restylane you must be a registered nurse first and that can take 3-4 years in a nursing program (plus the program to learn how to do it)
Because botox is the freezing of muscles in the face and you definetly do not want to be doing that if you don’t have knowledge in medicine/body…

Ive come across a lot of people who seem to have issues with their skin.. so here is my beauty resume.. hope it helps you too.
1. Drink more water. Everyone tells you to drink more water – 8 cups a day (approximately 2 Litres) is often the recommended amount. A vast majority of people don’t drink anywhere near this amount. Drinking water has many health benefits. Water assists with digestion, regulates body temperature and blood circulation, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells and removes wastes and toxins from the body. Water also assists with kidney function. As nutrients are absorbed more effectively and toxins are removed from the body, skin is smoother, healthier, cleaner and looks better. If you are not getting enough water in your diet, you may feel joint pain, stomach pain, back pain, be low on energy and experience mental confusion and disorientation.
2. Reduce exposure to the sun. Much of society sees a tan as a sign of beauty. The trouble with this view as that many will try to achieve this by hours spent in the sun. The problem with this approach is that it is very short-term orientated – although you skin may look good in the short term, in the future sun damage will produce the visual signs of ageing, producing wrinkles and spots – which can’t be fixed with Botox! There are many excellent fake tan products available and this should be your first choice for tanning as it will produce good results not just now, but your skin will also look good in the future.
3. Avoid Stress. Stress is a terrible thing that should be avoided wherever possible. Stress is linked to heart disease, cancer and depression. Stress also causes wrinkles and frown lines.
4. Don’t smoke. Smoking these days is a completely irrational activity, apart from the countless health problems it causes it does major damage to skin. Cigarette smoke and tar deprive the skin of oxygen and nutrients leaving it appearing dull and unhealthy. Smoking can also give skin a undesirable yellow or grey appearance. Smoking also leads to the creation of free radicals which can weaken the collagen and elastin fibres leading to premature wrinkling.
5. Get more sleep. It is estimated that on average the world’s population is sleep deprived by about an hour. Short term sleep deprivation is not necessarily a problem as the body compensates by increasing adrenaline levels, however insufficient sleep will reduce the ability of cell’s to rejuvenate, and creates dark areas around the eyes. Long term sleep deprivation can cause serious health problems.
6. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables. A diet high in minerals, vitamins and nutrients is an excellent strategy for improving the quality of skin. Vitamin A can increase the softness of skin and a balanced diet will increase overall health. Click here for some super foods.
7. Have a good cleansing routine. It is imperative that skin is kept clean and moisturized to avoid flaky dry skin, skin disorders such as acne and to increase the overall appearance of your skin. Ensure you clean, lightly exfoliate and moisturize your skin.
thanks thats really good to share that with people ..

How do you go about choosing a permanent makeup artist? Since permanent makeup lasts about 5 years, one certainly doesn’t want to choose the wrong person to put it on. Price shopping is not the way to go, so just how would you quality shop? There is a national permanent makeup artist list, but what would you look for when deciding who to go to?
http://www.permanent-eyeliner.info/
First, permanent makeup does not only last 5 years – it is a tattoo and lasts forever when properly maintained. It is crucial you find someone with the proper level of skill, aesthetic value, and knowledge of infection control.
I would start at this website: www.spcp.org
You can click to your own state for a list of professional members there. Then I would make an appointment to view their portfolio and check out their studio. You don’t want to go somewhere where there is nail file dust all over..blow driers going, etc.
Tattooing should be in its own separate environment.
Make sure that what they show in their portfolio is similar to what you are looking for. You must feel comfortable and confident with this person – if not, keep moving. It is not like body art that can be hidden under clothing – we are talking about your face! It is a highly rewarding procedure or badly damaging one. Be sure your artist respects that about the industry!
