I was thinking about getting a peel done to improve the texture and look of my skin but the expense, recovery time and risks aren’t what I am looking for. Does anyone know of any facials that are similar in results to a peel or microdermabrasion?
ive had micro and after i got it done my skin looked so shiney and clear.

Some proceedurs can leave you red for 48 hours so be careful if you have big plans. They do improve texture however.
You shouldn’t do it if you are very young, unless you have bad acne.

It depends on what you mean by a facial. Usually, a facial is a cosmetic treatment that includes cleaning of the face, sometimes massage and different treatments.
Microdermabrasion and peels are different procedures that can be included in a facial, but can also be done on their own.
I don’t like the peels because they cause scabbing and my skin recovers very slowly after them. I do like microdermabrasion, I’ve been having it for 4 years now and i see amazing results.
you can try one of the many at home kits available on the market, they cost around $20 and really work.
